Since Subway has many specifications to abide by when building new restaurants, I initially wanted to work with a general contractor who had built previous restaurants. Once I inspected the others, I was shocked at the lack of quality and detail. Since Gais Construction had come highly recommended, I decided to give them a try. I’m happy knowing my restaurant was built with quality and details in a timely manner. Gais is knowledgeable and specialized in interior upfits and renovation work. They had no qualms about working around the clock and sticking to Subway’s strict standards. Unlike other general contractors, they actually listened to my wants, needs and specs. I have gladly referred Gais Construction to other Subway restaurants.

Communications is #1 for me. Gais gave me updates frequently, so I always knew what was happening. If a problem came up I was notified immediately, so we could review all of the possible solutions and find an alternative without sacrificing time. I’m sure after some time they were tired of seeing my number pop up in their Caller ID, but they always called me right back. It didn’t matter to them if I made a thousand changes; they just wanted me to be happy with the final result.
